Chivas de Guadalajara is a Mexican soccer team with more popularity and the most championships achieved throughout their 100-year history. They have the distinction of including only Mexican players.
Chivas has a second division sister team, which, as of March 6, has chosen Puerto Vallarta as their official home, playing home matches in our city for the next three tournaments. The pitch is the ejido of Ixtapa. The team will play its home games on Saturdays at 4:00pm to promote the First Division of Ascenso. The opening game starts at 3:00pm and the first opponent will be CD Zacatecas.
One more reason for the Vallarta fans of this team to approach players who probably belong in some years of professional first division team. It is important to note that currently the second division Chivas has 7 members from smaller national teams. General admission will cost $50 pesos per adult, one child goes in free.
