The art of writing plays or to bring it to life in front of an audience using a combination of speech, gestures, art, music, sound and spectacle is how the theater could be defined as performing art. We also know it as theater, the building where these works are represented and Puerto Vallarta, a new modern theater complex is about to open: Teatro Vallarta.
This next Saturday, March 6 at 8:00pm, our city will witness the opening of an avant-garde theater, technologically equipped for the presentation of a variety of shows. The lights and the attention will focus on the street that day at Uruguay 184, close to downtown/Centro across from Ley Supermarket.

TEATRO VALLARTA
Theater Vallarta is an auditorium seating 960 people comfortably, with a scene that follows international guidelines and a stunning display of light emitting diodes (LEDs), and professional sound, lighting, props and clothing facilities.
However, beyond Teatro Vallarta will be more than just a Forum for theatrical performances, as the project the facility includes an art gallery and a place of entertainment. The gallery is intended for the exhibition of works by masters of art, while the second will be a forum bringing together the most important Mexican stars of the show business, who will be recognized through prize: "Los Soles de Vallarta" (The Suns of Vallarta).
In turn, Teatro Vallarta non-profit school will provide Mexican artists to develop this through the Fandango Foundation AC. This school will promote dance, art and music culture among children.

FANDANGO
Fandango is the production to be presented for the first time at Teatro Vallarta. Blend joy, celebration, tradition and modernity. The expression of color and heat, light and shadow, music and dance will all displayed in a creation that seeks to express the feeling of a vanguardist Mexico without detracting from its roots, rise through the magic of its culture.
The performance will last two hours featuring 30 dancers, 15 musicians and multimedia animation. The choreography is a mixture of the origins of our art with contemporary dance, and music retaining the best of its essence and set the impressive decorating electronics.
Fandango will be presented regularly Tuesday to Saturday at 8:30pm beginning March 10.
