1. Lucas Sebastian Cattaneo emigrated from Argentina 12 years ago after his parents made plans to leave Buenos Aires, following a family tradition like his grandfather, who emigrated from Italy. Today, in this area, Lucas is blending three cultural traditions with his cooking at El Rincon de Buenos Aires.

2. An architecture student in his native Argentina, Lucas launched his career in Nuevo Vallarta by building his own restaurant. Although it began as "La Porteña", he had to change the name due to an issue of brand ownership. He now has a well-known brand in his own establishment in Marina Vallarta: El Rincon de Buenos Aires.

3. I master the Grill, Lucas says, "I have it in my blood, like any Argentine." Their motto is "wood makes it taste better", such as oak, and oak aromas and it brings consistency when cooking meat to preserve the tenderness and texture. He offers the finest cuts, such as the Rib Eye, New York, T-bone, flank as well as a special cut that has become very popular here made famous here in the city by Lucas and his restaurant.

4. The menu also includes pastas and salads, offering barbeque distinguished for the tenderness of the meat and special taste that only wood can bring and by the combination of elements such as the Argentine and Mexican tortillas and sauces.

5. Lucas is now a Mexican citizen, and he has even created a new Argentine-Mexican accent with hints of Jalisco, bringing the culture of Argentina in his blood but with Mexico enriching his life and his cuisine. In his spare time, Lucas enjoys playing tennis, golf, preparing desserts and enjoying tacos al pastor. As for that other great Argentine passion: soccer, he only hopes that Mexico and Argentina will not have to face off in the World Cup.
